Directions

From Fort Canning MRT (DT20), walk south toward the river until you reach Mohamed Sultan Road — approximately nine minutes. From Clarke Quay MRT (NE5), walk west along the river, then turn north onto Mohamed Sultan Road — approximately seven minutes. Look for the narrow stairwell between the blue door and the plant shop; the landing lamp is above the handrail.

Lift access is available through the rear service entrance on the alley side; telephone from the street if you need the door held. Bicycle parking is along the river rail, not on the landing steps.

Walk-in readers may use the corridor bench during River Hours. Staff may invite you into the inner room for scheduled conversations; please do not bring recording devices beyond the bench.
